The Centre for Legal Technology Problems and New Technologies is one of the leading centres dealing with legal aspects of new technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, blockchain and smart city. The members of the team are scientists and practitioners with extensive business and expert experience, taking part in the work on new regulations of new technologies at home and abroad. The Centre co-creates the first Virtual Chair of Ethics and Law in Poland, currently headed by the Centre’s Director, Prof. Dariusz Szostek. The members of the centre participated, among others, in the works on the computerisation of civil procedure, smart city strategy and the provisions of laws eliminating the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic.
