The Research Team of the Centre for the Protection of Cultural Heritage / UNESCO Chair on Cultural Property Law brings together lawyers from Poland and abroad who deal with legal protection of cultural assets. It is currently the only UNESCO Legal Cathedral in Poland and one of the few in the world dealing with this issue.

As part of its activities, the team cooperates with analogous departments at the University of Geneva, University of Technology in Sydney and Renmin University in Beijing.

The Centre’s team takes part as experts in the work on international, European and national legislation on cultural goods. As part of the Centre’s activities, the international magazine Santander Art & Culture Law Review is published, indexed in the SCOPUS database.
